Passing on Tricks of the Trade
Nothing continues to give me greater pleasure than passing to tomorrow's generation of media people the tricks I have learned. One is the secret of creative writing which the late George Markstein, a journalist turned fiction writer passed to me: "Think one way, write in the opposite direction". He used this technique on many of his successful novels and hit TV series such as The Prisoner.
