Erich Hartmann

I carried camera bags for the late Erich Hartmann, a member of Magnum Photos, the influential international photographers' co-operative, who introduced the concept of corporate photography in the US. It was during a whirlwind 7 country European photo shoot in 11 days and I can still recall being amazed at his creativity and professionalism. Our friendship blossomed and I was honored to speak at his memorial service in New York in 1999.
